Return & Exchange Policy:
In store Purchases & In store Pickup Orders:
Decor: You may exchange home decor (excluding furniture, lighting, seasonal items, rugs, greenery, and discounted/sale items of any kind) for store credit within 2 business days of purchase or receipt with tags attached and proof of purchase. Please note that your in store pickup order is only eligible for an exchange if picked up within two weeks of ordering. If you wait more than two weeks to pick up your order you will not be allowed to exchange anything or return anything for store credit. Please also note that any purchase that has been made with a store credit or comment sold credit from a previously returned item/items will not be eligible for return again. If your item was shipped it must be put in the mail within 2 business days of receipt. If an item is found defective within 30 days of the purchase date, you must contact firstname.lastname@example.org to file a claim. You must attach photos, your explanation of the claim, and your order / receipt number. All claims must be submitted within 30 days of purchase date or it will not be considered for any reason. Defective items may be exchanged for a store credit ONLY upon management’s approval. We will not under any circumstances issue card or cash refunds, we only issue store credit. We will not offer an exchange or store credit for any item, for any reason, if you have had the item for more than 7 days! If your item is accepted by management there may be an applicable restocking fee of up to 10% per item. We will only issue store or comment sold credits for the subtotal of the item/s. Any applicable tax will be deducted at time of new purchase.
Furniture: Please pre-measure and assure your colors are correct before purchasing furniture as all sales are final on furniture as stated above. No exceptions.
Furniture pickups are by appointment only and must be scheduled ahead of time. If you do not come during your scheduled pickup appointment, you MUST reschedule. If you show up at a different time other than your appointment time, you will not be able to pick up your furniture and you must come back at an appointed time.
Please check your furniture for damages before purchasing & leaving the store!
Instore Pickup Orders: When you choose in store pickup on your online order, your order will be fulfilled and ready for pickup within 24 hours. You will have 2 weeks to pick up your order, after which RLCo reserves the right to restock the item to the store and you will not be refunded for the item. We apologize for the inconvenience but we cannot hold orders longer than two weeks, and we will not refund or issue store credit if you do not come to pickup your items. Please also note that the two week pickup time applies to furniture as well. If you cannot pick up your furniture within the two week window then please call and let us know.
It is the customer’s responsibility to notify RLCo if any items were damaged, incorrect or missing from your order, or if an item was left out of your bag when purchasing in store. If you notice a mistake in your order or in store purchase please call us immediately so we can locate the items for you.
Clothes, Accessories & Shoes: Exchanges on Clothing and Shoes are accepted within 7 days of purchasing or receiving the item with proof of purchase and tags still attached. Items must be free from perfume, cigarette smoke, unworn, and unwashed. Hair Accessories, earrings, body suits, formal wear, under garments, and hats are final sale. Any other jewelry and handbags must be exchanged within 2 business days.Please note that any purchase that has been made with a store credit or comment sold credit from a previously returned item/items will not be eligible for return again. Any items on the sale rack, clearance, red dot, or that is discounted cannot be returned. There will be no exceptions to this, as sale items are final sale. Rustic Lantern Co has the right to decline the exchange upon inspection. If your items were shipped please also reference our “shipped Items” section below as we do not cover return shipping (See below).
Accessories including bracelets, necklaces, watch bands, hand bags, purses, and wallets may be exchanged within 2 days of original purchase. You must have proof of purchase, and the items must be unworn and unused with original tags still on. This excludes earrings, hair accessories, or anything seasonal. Management reserves the right to refuse an exchange for any reason. If your item was shipped to you please reference "shipped items."
**We will never issue any type of refunds, only store credit or comment sold credits! This is for any reason ** We do not cover return shipping under any circumstances.
Shipping, Lost Items, & Damaged Product:
Shipped Items: We thoroughly inspect all items for damage before packaging and shipping to insure each item is undamaged. If any items arrive damaged, or get lost in the mail you will need to file a claim with the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS). We have insurance on every package for this purpose. Keep all packing materials including the box, bubble, paper or mailer to file a claim with the mail carrier. Please note that variations in products color, size, and distressing is not considered damaged. Most of our products are handmade and therefore will vary. Rustic Lantern & Co is not responsible for any damage incurred to products during shipping. We will not refund or exchange broken or lost items. Please also note that if you choose one day shipping that only applies once it reaches the carrier. It takes 1-3 business days to fulfill and get shipping orders to the carrier.
**Rustic Lantern Co will not cover return shipping at this time. We do not ship furniture of any kind at this time**
Lost Mail : Rustic Lantern Co is NOT responsible for lost mail under any circumstances. You will NOT be refunded, sent a new item or given a store credit. You must file a claim with the shipping carrier.
Damaged Product: Damage claims are to be filed with the delivery carrier. Rustic Lantern Co. is not responsible for any damages that occur during shipping under any circumstances!
To return a product: Please use the address below with "Attention: Returns" and your reason for returning. (We do not cover return shipping at this time). Your return must fit criteria listed above and is subject to approval by management.

Most all products are handmade and will have imperfections and color variations. Products may also vary in size and shape from item to item. This is expected and is a natural result of the handmade process. Therefore this is not an acceptable reason for return and should be considered when purchasing. Our store sells antique reproductions and new originals only.
